I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC of Lethal Agent, and it didn’t disappoint. This page’s summary describes the book really well – a throwback of sorts to books like Memorial Day, but with the Kyle Mills style of injecting a bit more geopolitical intrigue into the stories. Mitch Rapp fans will enjoy a lot of the Mitch Rapp we’ve come to know in this series, but also adding in a new operating area for Mitch, and new bad guys. Lethal Agent has quickly become one of my favorites in the overall series.

Kyle Mills has done an exceptional job of something that has to be difficult – come into a very well established book series with predefined characters and relationships, and weave those into plot lines that are his own, yet satisfy a fan base accustomed to Vince Flynn’s style. The mark of a great book in any series is one that has you anxious for the next. And I am.

I am very happy to hear that Kyle Mills has returned to the earlier style of Mitch Rapp books with the forthcoming Lethal Agent story. What I want to read is more of Mitch Rapp, as in the earlier books of Memorial Day and Executive Power. Cannot wait until September! I have all of the books and have read about half of them twice. Got my son interested and he has read all of them as well.
