Granted, the extremely well lit American flag in the background of one particular shot was hilariously tacky. (Did they think we’d somehow forget which government’s military was involved?)

Ryan, I’m pretty sure John Clark was present and accounted for, he just wasn’t identified as such. They might be waiting until season 2 to drop his name, but I’m *pretty sure* the guy in question is Clark.

I thought I saw Michael Bay’s name in the credits. Did anyone else catch that? I generally avoid movies with Bay’s name on them, but I enjoyed the show Black Sails, which he produced. Moreover, it makes sense that Bay would be involved with this show, because it’s definitely in his wheelhouse.

I appreciated that the terrorists were portrayed in a sympathetic light–insofar as they could be, given the atrocities that they went on to commit–and that very little is black and white regarding what is going on in the world.

On the whole, I really liked the show and I’m looking forward to the the second season.

Although Greer is a real opposite from Clancy’s Greer, it is OK. James Earl Jones is the ONLY Greer, and I’m 100% sure Clancy would not have even thought of making this great man a Muslim, for pete’s sake. Where did that come from? Berenson’s John Wells character springs to mind. Great series though. Loved the rescue scene and, well….all the scenes.
