I think if the fans of the series will accept Spenser having a prison record entirely depends on how he ended up in prison. He *should* have ended up in prison any number of times for doing the right, if illegal, thing. If its for one of those, rather than him just being a bad guy, I thing the fans would accept it.

I had read all the Spenser Novels so many times and watch the TV show and movies made for TV. Netflect will make mistake if they think those who love Spenser will like him coming out from prison. Hope they do not make the mistake like star trek discovery and with Spenser. Again those who like Spenser will be upset.

My mom and I used to watch that and Knight Rider when I was a kid. Possibly the reason why I love thriller stories now. But I had no idea it was based on a book series. Very excited to get to the library and start from the beginning. I love everything Peter Berg does, so I already know it’s going to be amazing.
