In fact, we just crowned him the most lethal character currently in the thriller genre back in December, due to his efforts in Red War. As for what readers can expect with the new book, […]

Robert Ludlum’s Covert-One. All 12
I love to see another Col. Smith thriller brought to life by the foundation.
It’s adding inspiration to my first and second books – Some knock backs, no publisher yet. Still – Patience!

I was wondering what happened to Livia Lone.

Rob, I agree Jack Reacher should be on the list.

But for me, nobody can touch Mitch Rapp, he is the MAN.

I agree that Dewey Andres definitely should have been #1. I agree with most of the selections, but maybe not in that order. If Dewey could not be #1, then I believe Gray Man should have been. I am listening to the 4th John Demsey now and definitely think he and Jake Maeghan should have been top 10. Anyway, just another fan of Thriller books and now that I have found you, an ardent reader of you.

Just doesn’t do it for me. Jack Reacher should totally be on this list.

By: Clif Bradley https://therealbookspy.com/2018/12/17/2018-top-10-most-lethal-characters-in-the-thriller-genre/comment-page-1/#comment-11596 Mon, 17 Dec 2018 17:15:56 +0000 https://therealbookspy.com/?p=80234#comment-11596 I agree Eric Steele needed to be in there. Maybe next year. Of the females though, since I’m not on the list of readers, this is my opinion. If we expand out to some ‘lesser known’ books, Jessica Petrovich from Steven Konkoly’s “Black Flagged” series should rank high. Ultimately though I see Brad Taylor having 2 slots for the females with Shoshana and Koko taking top spots. Russell Blake’s ‘Jet’ might get in there but I dislike the series and the character so I object. Brad Thor will certainly score top points just with the Athena Project girls, although only one girl in his current novels is an operator. Andrew’s and Wilson should crack the top 10 with Grimes ‘God’ the sniper racking up an impressive kill count wherever she looks. The introduction of John Quick’s girlfriend should give Matthew Betley a top 10 entry as well.
I have more, but that’s my 2 cents worth.

Understand the rationale but still miss Jake Mahegan, Logan West and Eric Steele.
