It’s not necessarily nine years later… The story flashes back in time briefly, before coming back to the current day. What I can tell you is that the over arc from the last book does continue!

This War Shadows appears to start nine years afterwards… do you know if they will finish the initial story? Or are they simply moving on into the future so to speak?
