Just finished “a hard man to forget” by Dan Ames. The references to Reacher drew me in but the material is good enough to stand on its own, and the references to Reacher turned out to be a distraction. I recommend this author. Rated it 4 stars.

Great work putting the 2019 list together. Can never get enough of Stephen Hunter and Steve Berry. I have identified 32 books plus I am trying to read Power of the Dog and Cartel before Don Winslow’s The Border is released. I didn’t see an Alex Berenson book in the 2019 list. Again, thanks for making it so easy for us to select thrillers. I will leave a slot open for your debut thriller.
