It’s not in bookstores until March 20th, but fans can now get a free sneak peek at Steve Berry’s thirteenth Cotton Malone thriller, The Bishop’s Pawn.
Posted directly on his official website, Berry released two chapters — the prologue and chapter one — of his next book, which is actually a prequel story that details Malone’s first case with the Justice Department. It’s also the first book he’s ever written in the first-person narrative, giving readers new insight into Cotton and his way of thinking.
The story deals with the ugly, real-life feud between J. Edgar Hoover and Martin Luther King, Jr. As always, Berry provides facts that few people likely knew anything about, wrapped in fiction — creating a fast-paced, enjoyable and informative read.
