#1 New York Times bestselling author James Rollins, famous for penning the Sigma Force series (and spin-off novels) has gone off the grid to conduct research for his next book–The Seventh Plague–which hits bookstores on December 13, 2016.
Check out some of the tweets the author sent before saying goodbye to his fans until June!
I will be entirely away tomorrow late morning from all modern conveniences on my research trip for nearly a month.

The author also tweeted an image of the cover art for the paperback version of his 2015 thriller, The Bone Labyrinth, which comes out on July 26th.

He tweeted a slight tease about the cover for The Seventh Plague, calling it “jaw dropping,” though we’ll have to wait to get a look at it. It’s worth noting that Rollins has been very tight-lipped about where his research will tale place, careful not to tip-off any details about the plot just yet.
The Seventh Plague is the twelfth novel in Rollins Sigma Force franchise and is available for pre-order here.
