On October 29th, Former Delta Force commander Jack Mahegan returns in Double Crossfire, the next action-packed novel from retired Brigadier General Anthony J. Tata.
Tata—who also co-authors the Reaper series with Nicholas Irving—continues to be one of the busiest writers in the game, constantly putting out at least two books a year. First up in 2019, Tata will release Reaper: Threat Zero, which blasts into bookstores this May, and marks his second collab with Irving after last year’s fan-favorite novel, Reaper: Ghost Target. Double Crossfire, Tata’s sixth novel in his Mahegan franchise, will follow last year’s Dark Winter, which is arguably the author’s best novel to date.
I recently reached out to Tata and asked what fans can expect from Jack and the gang this time around, and he told me, “Jake and Cassie confront a team of trained assassins, who are bent on overturning the last presidential election by killing their way through the order of succession.”
