Get ready, because the Gray Man is coming to town. . .
On Thursday afternoon, Mark Greaney took to his official Facebook account to post the book tour information for his all-new Court Gentry thriller, Agent in Place, which comes out everywhere on February 20th.
First, a bit about the book. . . You can read my full review here, but to be totally honest, it’s not necessary. Trust me when I say that it’s the best Gray Man book yet, and one of the must-read action thrillers coming out this year. For plot into, read below, then keep scrolling to see which cities Mark Greaney will be visiting, beginning next month.
The Gray Man is back in another nonstop international thriller from the #1 New York Times bestselling coauthor of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan novels.
Fresh off his first mission back with the CIA, Court Gentry secures what seems like a cut-and-dried contract job: A group of expats in Paris hires him to kidnap the mistress of Syrian dictator Ahmed Azzam to get intel that could destabilize Azzam’s regime.
Court delivers Bianca Medina to the rebels, but his job doesn’t end there. She soon reveals that she has given birth to a son, the only heir to Azzam’s rule–and a potent threat to the Syrian president’s powerful wife.
Now, to get Bianca’s cooperation, Court must bring her son out of Syria alive. With the clock ticking on Bianca’s life, he goes off the grid in a free-fire zone in the Middle East–and winds up in the right place at the right time to take a shot at bringing one of the most brutal dictatorships on earth to a close…
Greaney will kickoff his Agent in Place book tour by holding two events on on pub day, both in California, before heading to The Poisoned Pen Bookstore in Arizona the following day. (Poisoned Pen streams their author events live, so make sure to tune in here. They always do a fantastic job!) After that, he’s onto Houston, Dallas, Memphis, Olala, Quantico, and Fort Belvoir.
Then, on Saturday, March 3, Greaney has a joint event with fellow New York Times bestselling author Brad Taylor (whose latest thriller, Operator Down, just came out a couple of weeks ago) at McIntyre’s Books in Pittsboro, North Carolina, at 2 PM ET. If you can make it to one event, this is the one to attend!
Following the event in North Carolina, Greaney will be at the Tuscon Festival of Books for a few days, then at the Broward Public Library Feast in Fout Lauderdale in May.
Mark Greaney is known among his peers as one of the nicest, best guys in publishing. Other authors rave about him, and I’ve heard from umpteen fans who’ve met him at signings who all swear his events are always among the best in the genre. So basically, if you live within driving distance of any of these places, make sure to get out, meet Mark, and pick up Agent in Place.
For those not close enough to attend any of the signings, lots of bookstores (The Poisoned Pen is who I use) will allow you to call ahead and order personalized copies. Otherwise, you can pre-order Agent in Placehere, or anywhere else books are sold!
