This September, New York Times bestselling author J.A. Jance is bringing back Seattle Investigator J.P. Beaumont for a “shockingly personal” case in her latest thriller, Sins of the Fathers

Jance first introduced readers to Beaumont back in her 1985 thriller Until Proven Guilty. Since then, the popular investigator has gone on to star in 23 novels, including, most recently, Proof of Life, which was released in 2017. By publishing Sins of the Fathers this year, Jance is keeping with her one-Beaumont-book-every-two-years publishing schedule, designed to give the author time to focus on her other two active series—the Joanna Brady and Ali Reynolds franchises, respectively—as well.
