Drifter Peter Ash, star of Nick Petrie’s critically acclaimed series, is set to return to bookstores on June 27th, 2023 in The Heavy Lift.
Ash, who was first introduced in Petrie’s hit debut novel The Drifter back in 2016, has since gone on to star in seven books to date, including The Runaway, which was released earlier this year. That book took Peter to Nebraska where he inadvertently crossed paths with a stranded woman in need of help, only to wind up being sucked into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse. This time around, with The Heavy Lift, book eight in the series, Peter will try and pay back a favor owed to a close friend, only to find himself sucked into a deadly criminal underworld—where chilling secrets threaten “everything they hold dear.”
