Jericho Quinn to Return this November in Marc Cameron’s ‘Active Measures’

On November 26th, Special Agent Jericho Quinn is set to return in Active Measures, the latest action-packed thriller from veteran bestselling author Marc Cameron.

2019 is shaping up to be a busy year for Cameron, who has already released Open Carry, the first book in a new series starring U.S. Marshal Arliss Cutter. Next up is Jericho Quinn, the author’s first series character and one of the thriller genre’s most underrated heroes, in Active Measures— with Tom Clancy Code of Honor, Cameron’s third Jack Ryan novel to date, on deck and slated for publication on November 19th, just one week before Quinn’s highly-anticipated return.

For those who’ve followed the series, Quinn last appeared in Cameron’s 2016 thriller, Field of Fire, nearly three years ago, when he went up against a Russian chemist who created a terrifying bioweapon. This time out, Quinn is said to find himself in the middle of a situation that would “make the Cuban Missile Crisis look like a fist fight.” See the cover art and plot details below.

Active Measures.jpgIn Marc Cameron’s 8th and most gripping Jericho Quinn Thriller to date, the bestselling author, former U.S. Marshal, and author of the latest Tom Clancy thrillers pits Special Agent Quinn against an international confrontation that would make the Cuban Missile Crisis look like a fist fight.

Cuba and the United States are in talks to normalize relations, something the old guard on the Communist-controlled island has vowed to stop–by any means necessary. Zayda de la Guardia, a rogue general in the Cuban security services, has gotten his hands on a nuclear weapon left over from the Cold War. He plans to launch it on Miami, an attack that could kill millions. There’s just one thing standing in his way: special agent Jericho Quinn and his team have traveled undercover to Cuba to unravel de la Guardia’s plot before it ignites a nuclear holocaust.

Thrown into a secret prison, pursued by assassins, and trapped on the tiny island during one of the worst hurricanes of the century, Quinn and his crew must survive a trial by fire to prevent an international confrontation that would make the Cuban Missile Crisis look like a fist fight.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Marc Cameron, a native of Texas, has spent over three decades in law enforcement. He is the award-winning author of the Arliss Cutter and the Jericho Quinn series, as well as the Tom Clancy Jack Ryan Sr. books, starting with Power and Empire in 2017. Early in his career, he served as a uniformed police officer, mounted (horse patrol) officer, and detective before accepting a position with the United States Marshals Service and serving as a Deputy, Fugitive Task Force Commander, Supervisory Deputy, Senior Inspector, and Chief. His assignments have taken him from rural Alaska to Manhattan, from Canada to Mexico and points in between. A second-degree black belt in jujitsu, he often teaches defensive tactics to other law enforcement agencies and civilian groups.

Cameron presently lives in Alaska with his wife and his BMW motorcycle.

Having three books set for release in the same calendar year is impressive in of itself, but in Cameron’s case, it’s even more impressive when you consider that all three titles are truly very different from one another. The ability to write outdoorsy, gritty crime thrillers like Open Carry, fast-paced, action-packed books like Active Measures, and more traditional political thrillers like Tom Clancy Code of Honor, not to mention his ability to seamlessly transition between the three, makes Marc Cameron one of the hardest working and most versatile writers in the business.

Active Measures, the long-awaited eighth novel in Marc Cameron’s Jericho Quinn series, is now available for pre-order here. For more information, check out his official website, and make sure to follow him on Facebook.
